Bow making

Hi ladies, this easy bow was shown to me by Desire, she found it on the Heroart website. you'll never forget how to make this easy peasy bow.
Take a piece of polysterene, stick 4 dressmaker pins in for your bow.  Lay down a thin piece of thread,string or ribbon, now wrap your ribbon for the bow around the pins, you can pin down the 2 points if you want to, take the think piece of thread and tie a knot,,adjust your bow and take it off the pins, wha-la a beautiful bow and the nice thing about it,, you can make it either one colour or different colours, If you want a double bow, just go around twice,,, see my examples. Have fun.

Flowers

Went for a 3D flower class with Margo yesterday and made this almanac, 4hour class but its worth it, learned sooo much about flower making, mine is no where near perfect but I love my almanac. Now i need more punches to make these again,,,

Holiday

Hi all, had a great holiday with the kids and grandkids, we went to Palm beach in KZN. We had a few lovely days at the beach, went to Oribi Gorge and through the Eland Nature reserve. I took beautiful pictures and uploaded a lot on my Facebook,, if you're not on my fb to see them, here's a pic of my 4 grandkids together,,, a lovely picture.Lexy,Shane, Dian and Lieschen.....  And then all the girls, beautiful little ones,Lieschen,Shane and Lexy.

Cardmaking camp 2011

Hi ladies, we had a fabulous time this weekend, we started off friday afternoon receiving our goodie bag filled with lovely paper/cardstock/buttons, magazine,unmounted stamps and lots more,,,friday night we each received the same unmount triangle flourish stamp and had to make a card or 2 with it, it was a challenging task but the ladies created wonderful cards with it.here are a few pics of those cards. I made this light green layered triangle card and the green christmas tree, my tree is a bit 'fat', but time was limited and i tried my best with the idea in my head.hehee the other cards are from other cardmakers. This triangle was created by Chantelle Finaughty and made by Rubber Stamp & Engraving.

On saturday morning we started with our classes,, i taught them this treat card box by Melanie Schulenberg and they thoroughly enjoyed it.here are a few of my examples.

Copic box

hi ladies, spend most of my day making this box for my copics,, i'm quite happy with the outcome, now i've got to decide if i want to attach a 'handle' to carry it or not, this box has a lid that closes so nothing will fall out when its close. I must say this isnt my 'forte' to make things like this but at least all my copics are together now, yah!! now i can play and not always wonder which colours go together, even space for my Momento stamppad too.lol

I made a couple of new embroidery cards, this is such an easy pattern with end results all different and these cards are so gorgeous,even if i must say so myself,,just love doing this pattern.

This is a stair fold card, image stamped and coloured, then i colored with my clear star glitter pen over it,, the scan dont show much.

Made this card with my tool template and my Big shot,stamped tools from Technique Tuesday.

Crochet Rose

I saw these lovely roses, Becca from Amazing Paper Grace had one on her card the other day so i just had to try it too as i love crocheting. You can just google Strip rose and you'll get a lot of tutorials about it.I just love it and its so easy to do. Hope you like it too. it can be used for a hat, brooch,card etc,,,

Wedding Card

Wedding card i made for Anton and Shani's wedding. I used MS punch, Nestability die cut,  I stamped with Brilliance underneath the diecuts.
