I went for a midweek with the girlfriends to the Sterkfontein dam, it was a super week, we had so much fun, lots of laughter, craft a lot, the most beautiful scenery. it was a very relaxing week.

It's cold but at least it's friday!!! and weekend,,, we had a fabulous funday yesterday at my house, the car-di-o-logists had a great crafting day here. good company, good friends, good food,,, i hope,,, and lots of laughter. we all played with our die cut machines, what would we do without it,,,,it changed our lives, these c/b backgrounds are just gorgeous and makes such a difference to a card. Here's a card i made with gel medium, material mesh, glitter on acetate.

I made this c/b background on the back, cut out a window and stamped on the front with a HA flower stamp, the pearl is thick and don't allow me to scan clear. hope you'll have a wonderful sunny weekend too,,, looks like the weather is changing a bit,, had enough of the winter now,,, let spring be here,,, please,,,,,

We had fun!!

Today a few friends got together and we made different explosion boxes, i didn't finish mine so can't show, but i'll scan it as soon as i've decorated it completely. it was fun and if you've got someone showing you how to do it,, its actually easy. These craft days are pure fun and enjoyment.

Winter creativity

I realized this morning that i'm not very creative during winter months. i was awake at 5am, made a cuppa coffee and got back into bed again. I now wish for sunny days. I usually make a few cards at a time and then for days nothing,,, am i the only one??

Cardfronts

Our Cardi-o-logists stamping group did a swap out of cardfronts, we used the tagmaps feb 2007 as basis, http://www.pagemaps.com/,,,,here you can see our artwork.
Sue's tag opened up and revealed this great lady, Jools did the St Patrick front, Desire a red flower cardfront. Dale did the lovely orange flower and Verna the yellow and orange friendship card, mine is the one with the birdie. Our theme was light colours and celebrate "whatever". Overall, i think we all celebrated friendship, the greatest gift of all!!
