Stamps- lady

I did a bit of stamping,,this card has no layer, i stamped directly onto the c/s, coloured with aquarelle pencils, glitter and finish it off with a few pearls and ribbon. I quite like it even tho there's no layers, what do you think??

Black Magic cards

Made this card and almost forgot to upload and show it to you all. This is called Black Magic. Its very easy to do,,Stamp a solid image with a white dye inkpad onto black cardstock,, heat set and then colour over the white image with Aquarelle watercolouring pencils(i coloured with purple), stamp over your image again with the white stamppad but this time with an outline stamp that kinda match your 1st stamp,,,and your image will "pop",,like Gina K would say,,hehee

Black n White criss cross card

Here's a criss cross card, its almost like an envelope where you can slide your invite or sentiment in. i've used the c/bug Herringbone template for the embossing of the black cardstock. various ribbons and then the Fiskars punch for the strips on the inside of the V. I used the MGill flower punch with the smaller EK Success punch for the flower.

Here's another PINK blossom card altho it don't look pink, its a pearly pink cardstock with a big pearl and tiny ones around it.fiskar punch for the borders.

Hi all, i just LOVE this Blossom stamp, cant get enough of it and every time you can do something else with it, use different background paper, punches, ribbon and it looks completely different and to me its a very elegant card. Love, love love it...The white and black card have glass beads in the centre and the green card has a silver embossed cuttlebug background.

Serviette Podge

Hi all, we had a great crafty day yesterday,, we decorated shopping bags with serviette podge. Here are my 2 bags i decorated,, i'm very pleased with them, now they look too good to take to the shops,hehee

I bought this fantastic Heartfelt Creations  Dutch Iris-Blossom 3 Collection at the Hobby X show,,made this card and just love my new stampset. I used the MS trellis punch with it and HA happy wishes. I'm going to make a few cards with my new flower,, so watch this space...

Easel card

Another easel card with a Tilda, this was our "Cardiologist" challenge for today, we used a map from Mojo Monday 176 and here is my card, i was the lucky winner of the day too.All the cards were gorgeous.
My card,,,purple and black, the roses are very dark purple.

I've tried my hand at this type of easel card, i like this card very much although a bit bulky for posting, will have to give it to someone closeby,heehee They are both cut with nestabilities, folds at the top and then i added another cut out for the front. Scallop circles and Labels 1, fancy tags for the words and Cuttlebug Herringbone for the embossing.HA stamps

Baking for a change!!

We had a very good special on bananas and i bought enough to make these 4 banana loafs,,,i'm so glad they came out so nicely, mine always burst open at the top, dont know why,,but they are yummy!!!

30th Anniversary

Today is our 30th Anniversary and Anton baked me this delicious choc cake with caramel filling. He always bake this recipe of his mom and its always a winner. We had a relaxing day with the kids and grandkids at home.

I'm doing very well after my back operation, i sit for short periods, walk around , hope to be much better by Christmas.

hi all, sorry i havent been very active and uploading cards etc,,, but i have a back playing up and after a lot of cals to the medical aid, i might get the operation soon. i just want to say  i wont be active and hope next year brings us more pleasure of card making. Have a wonderful festive time,prepping for your Christmas lunches/dinners, buying all the gifts and wrapping them all up.I wish you all a Blessed Christmas time and a Happy New Year. I know its a bit early but i dont know what the future holds for me, how active i can be etc,,, dont think i'll be posting anything further this year. take care till later.
